I bought this album from ebay and it was sealed when I recieved it.I have had it for a while now so was so excited to hear it.
The only tracks I new were,Der Kommissar( which you can find the 12inch version here , Thanx for the link,John. ) and the classic Teenage Iceage.

The rest of the album is truly great, mush better than I had hoped for.
There is a version of the Trio hit,Da, Da, Da, I Don't Love You which could well be the same backing track, to my ears.
My favourite tracks are the Blondie sounding,Scandle, a great slice of new wave goodness.Tango 2000 has fabulous effects on it,it sounds so fresh,it is one of the songs sung in German.
Dreiklangsdimension and Goldener Reiter are also just great songs I dont care I dont understand German I just love them.

Coming At You and Born To Bleed are probably the nearest to Teenage Iceage, loving these too.

The only tracks I am not keen on are,King Kong and Monotony In Germany.
I would love to hear more from Suzy, so if anyone has any more tracks to share, please let me know.
Enjoy.

Something / someone I totally missed in the 80s.

I thought Suzy Andrews must be a studio project like a Valerie Dore, but, judging from my quick online research, I don't think Pierre et Gilles take photos of non-existent people.

I'm not 100% sure why someone was covering "Der Kommisar" and "Da Da Da" at that time - although the Flying Lizards should have -- but end result is more enjoyable than I would have suspected.

Thank you for sharing.

Hi Mikey,

Thanks for the comments on the USB Turntable.

I had worries about the quality of the arm. My deck is pretty decent and I may run that through the pc instead if I can't get one that is decent enough.

Some more stuff up. City Boy / Sparks Hell collection and lots more.

I've dug that Armoury Show out and I'll get it up tomorrow.

For some reason I thought Cristina (of "What's a Girl to Do" and "Don't Mutilate My Mink")was the female vocalist behind this version of Der Kommissar and I've been trying to find it for years. Thanks heaps for the download and the link to the 12" version.
